But you know that, which is why I don’t want to annoy you with a sales pitch each time I send out a newsletter. I thought about what all of you have in common. You are all artists, creators, businesspeople, people with ideas, hopes and dreams… You all need words of encouragement. You need advice around how you can realize yourself and your ideas in life. In my humble opinion, I have some messages that will help you exactly with that. Thus, that’s what I write, talk and blog about. I want to encourage you to pursue whatever it is that you do, and that you don’t give up, and that you keep believing in yourself.
Today I will do that by telling a story about Lucie, Elisa & Juliette. It’s a story about three young women who are, in my opinion, fantastic musicians. In my video I talk about a song they recorded in the summer of 2014. Even though it was the same video then, it only now gained popularity – one year later. Same talent, same music, and same platform. What does that teach us? To me, it shows that success is a very relative concept. Are you successful because you produce great output, or are you successful because the timing is right, you know the right people, you have the right amount of luck…?
I am not sure, there may be several answers to that question. What I do know is that these girls do something they love doing. I also know that they started when they were little kids; I know that they produced many videos of lower quality before they were able to record Summer 2014 and Summer 2015.
